Lego...
I really need to settle on a lego design for my car and stop starting over.

House of Marley Smile Jamaica - In-Ears
I'm not an Audiophile, but "I knows what I likes" and enjoy looking for that on the cheaper side of the hobby...
...so, you might completely disagree with everthing that is said... that's cool.
So I finally got myself a pair of House of Marley headphones.
I've always liked the look and the reviews seem like they are better than average at their price point, recently my go-to Sony In-Ears (MDR-EX15APB) died and out of stock, I thought I'd give them a go...
So, to the review:
Looks:
I really like them, I like wood with tech, fabric sleeves on the cables look nice as well
Fit/Comfort:
They only come with 2 sizes of tips (Small and Large?) but I think I'm more in between the 2 sizes, I'll need to see if I can find something better from my bags of spares.
They are mostly comfortable and might be better if I can find better tips, the cord is great, and doesn't make those rubbing sounds in your ears when they rub on clothes.
Sound:
So the sounds are a little odd. Really warm sounding, which I like, but they aren't as clear as some other headphones I have.
I mostly use these types of in-ear headphones for wearing to bed or under hearing protection so this isn't a deal breaker, but you lose some of details like drums, and background sounds, which is something I like when going to sleep/
Summary:
Not bad, might even get them again, but for the detail in the songs I'm going to be reaching for my KZ ZSN Pro's or AKG K-52's.

Got moar Lego...
Might go back to the F1 style suspension design, had some new parts arrive that will make it possible. Bought the Parts from BrickLink, using a MOC, but I forgot to note down the MOC I was looking at... I think I've re-found it but not 100% sure...

I did stuff...
I did a bunch of stuff but didn't write anything down: - Rebuilt the lego cars most nights. - Pulled apart the first broken server, rebuilt it in a JBOD config, installed Debian. - Started looking at OpenMediaVault. - Lots of yardwork - Need new steelcap boots and line trimmer - Need to cut down another tree - Rideon Mower, I think I need to check under it, sounded like there was something stuck in the blades/deck.

Work Stuff
Work is picking up more in our 365 migration.
I want to create a page or something for putting 365 learning notes
Interestingly, looks like we're sticking with VMware for ~12 more months, that Broadcom stuff is trying to ruin me. And we'll probably keep Veeam. Cohesity was looking like a good option, the 'built in' DR coverage had me sold. Veeam's good and all, but I could really use a greenfields deployment, but thats a little tricky given we're pro 24/7 and downtime is a nightmare to get...
As an aside, I did manage to get the YubiKey FIDO Keys to work today. Using the Bio key but following the example I enabled the pin feature on the key, but I don't think this matches our expected MFA workflow, it seems to add extra steps. The normal way is something like `Username + Password + [MFA option]` but the way I configured it, it's more like `Username + (click to passwordless option) + USB + Pin for Yubikey + Fingerprint`, so like... not ideal...
Seems like we must have a HR issue going on somewhere as well. I was ask by my boss if I knew a way to get Browser History from remote computer...
I hacked together a PS script to get the browser history from a remote computer, uses an old tool ("psexec.exe"?) to run `Enable-PSRemoting`, lists the users folders, you type the folder name, then it just dumps out all the sites in the Edge Browser history.
I figure that way the boss can run the script and I don't need to sign the NDA or whatever it was looking like I needed to worry about.

Homelab Stuff
Found that one of my VM hosts crashed, VMware PSoD :/ Looks like the perc battery is failing or has failed. Ordered a replacement battery, but I think the server may need to be replaced.
I had another one of the same (Dell R320) I got from an old workmate, e-waste from that workplace.
That one died a little while ago and was replaced with an R630 a friend found in their company's e-waste, no drives but I had enough spares to get the VMs moved over to it.
Hard bit is that currently the R320's have 4x 4tb 3.5" drives each, while the R630 only has 2.5" drive bays, so I'd been using one of them as a NAS. When the first one died I moved the VM's to the R630 and moved the drives into the working R320.
So now I'm going to spend way too long thinking about things, I'm leaning to fixing up the old R320 with the new battery (and run some health checks) then installing TrueNAS or something on it. I can then move the files from the File Server running on the dying R320 to the repaired R320 .
Might also make for a good time to move properly away from VMware, but I'm not really sold on any alternatives...

Random Lego Stuff
The Servo motors arrived, much easier to steer the Lego Car now.

Random Lego Stuff
Built some Lego RC cars, nothing fancy, I'll try to put some pics up when I can.
Waiting for some servo motors to arrive so I can fix up the steering on the ones with wheels.
Finding that the RF controller is sending an On signal, makes sense given the controller, but looking at maybe building an Arduino controller to get around it.
I'm hoping to make a Lego RC buggy I can use outside, but just doing lots of POC builds to see what works and what doesn't, stealing lots of ideas from MOC's but not following anything specific.

Need to find a way to manage blog like content. Not keen on too much fancy stuff, kinda want minimal HTML & CSS, but might need to look at JS. I'm not a WebDev or real programmer, gotta make it so it does the things it needs to do.
I'll try to fill out some categories, like server/network/homelab/lego/.. but I dunno how to roll that out yet.
